Winter Weather Will Create Slick Roads Later Today

Please allow yourself extra time to reach your destination safely. Slick conditions are expected so slow down and buckle up! Here's what we can expect according to the National Weather Service in La Crosse:

"Rain will overspread the area today with a switch over to snow expected late this afternoon into this evening creating slippery travel. Look for west winds to increase this evening with gusts approaching 40 mph at times. There is a slight chance of light snow on Thursday then focus turns to a storm system impacting the area with accumulating snow Friday night into Saturday. Keep a close eye on the forecast if you have travel plans."
