Woman Admits to Taking Funds from Elderly Victims
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A 47-year-old Rochester woman has entered into a plea agreement in a criminal case involving the theft of thousands of dollars from two elderly and vulnerable adults.
Kelly Lynne Johnson admitted to a felony count of Financial Exploitation of a Vulnerable Adult on Friday and is scheduled to be sentenced on April 25th. In exchange for the guilty plea, 5 other felony charges were dismissed.
The criminal complaint says Johnson had power of attorney for both victims. She was accused of taking $37,000 from the bank account of one of the victims and $13,000 from the second victim.
