Midwesterners Bucket List: Visit the World’s Largest Culver’s in Wisconsin

Culver's is a Midwest staple. No lie, if my husband and I are hitting the road and I'm hungry, I will ALWAYS want to go to Culver's. So now something I need to add to my bucket list is visiting the world's largest Culver's, which, lucky for us, is in Wisconsin!

It totally makes sense that it's in Wisconsin, I mean, Culver's is a Wisconsin-based chain. But the world's largest Culver's isn't in the same town as their headquarters. It is close by, though.

You can find the world's largest Culver's in Edgerton, Wisconsin, which is just southeast of Madison.

It's a smaller town with a population of just under 6,000. How they became the place of the world's largest Culver's, I'm not sure! I would guess that they just purchased the building and it happened to be the biggest Culver's around. As far as I know, they didn't do it on purpose.

I'd say all Culver's restaurants are decently sized. There's lots of space to sit and eat your meal. But the world's biggest Culver's has so much space it has a conference room that people can rent out, according to the Visit Edgerton, WI website.

If you'd like to add visiting the world's largest Culver's to your bucket list, its proximity to Madison makes that pretty easy. Since it's a 3-hour and 20-minute drive to Edgerton from Rochester, you could do a little weekend vacation in Madison and pay a visit to the Culver's during your trip. It's only a 35-minute drive between Madison and Edgerton, so totally doable.
