When it comes to big stores with a lot of locations, one location might be amazing and few towns over a different location is the worst place you've ever seen. It just happens with large brands.

That's when things like Google Reviews can come in handy. And according to a recent study by a company called SEO Backlinks, they found the best and worst Walmart locations across the country based on over 18 million Google Reviews.

Turns out, that the worst Walmart in the country based on Google Reviews is in St. Cloud, MN.

The Worst Walmart in the US Based on Google Reviews is in St. Cloud

The St. Cloud Walmart in question is the south location, at 3601 2nd St S. In one review that was sited by SEO Backlinks, the reviewer writes: "Always very disorganized, dirty and the shelves are not properly stocked." That's from August 2026.

And actually, that St. Cloud Walmart isn't the only Minnesota Walmart that made the list of the 10 worst.

Faribault, MN Walmart Named One of the Worst Based on Google Reviews

The Walmart in Faribault is also one of the worst in the US based on Google Reviews. That location ranked as the 7th worst in the country. One reviewer wrote: "This is a run down walmart need new carts not very clean." That review is also from August 2026.

But let's not be total Debby Downers, here. SEO Backlinks also shouted out the best Walmart locations based on Google Reviews. No Minnesota locations made the top 10 across the country, but I do have the top 10 for Minnesota specifically.
