The Minnesota Secretary of State's website explains the seven ways you can register to vote on election day including:
- Using a valid Minnesota driver’s license, a learner’s permit or ID, or a Tribal ID with name, address, photo and signature.
- Using a Photo ID like your passport or college or high school ID along with any document that has your address on it like a phone, TV or internet bill, garbage, gas, or electric bill. (You do not need a physical copy of the bill - You can pull it up on your phone.)
- The Secretary of State says a neighbor or friend can vouch for you, "A registered voter from your precinct can go with you to the polling place to sign an oath confirming your address. This is known as ‘vouching.’ A registered voter can vouch for up to eight voters. You cannot vouch for others if someone vouched for you."
