1 In Every 20 Minnesotans Has More Than $100 In Unclaimed Money Or Property

The State of Minnesota is holding a record amount of unclaimed money - $711.5 million! 

Rep. Joe Atkins and Sen. James Metzen have proposed a bill, because of the record amount of unclaimed funds, that would require the Commerce Department to make more of an effort to reunite missing money with its rightful owner.

One in every 20 residents in Minnesota has more than $100 in unclaimed money or property.  So how do you find out if today is your lucky day?
