Each year kids in our communities go with out the protection they need to combat winter's brutal temps.

106.9 KROC, The United Way and Salvation Army have teamed up for the Community Winter Outerwear drive.  We're trying to collect more than 3,000 coats this year to hand out to our neighbors in need.  We need all sizes but the demand for kid sizes is extremely high.  If you have gently used coats that you won't be using this year, we ask that you donate them. There are over 50 collection points around Rochester including both Salvation Army thrift stores.

KROC will be hosting 'Drive-By Drop-Off' on Friday, September 23rd from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. If you work in downtown Rochester, please bring your coat donations to our studios that morning.  We're located at 122 4th St SW.
