The typical workweek is fast becoming atypical, according to a new study from Ernst and Young.

Newsflash: We work too much!

Case in point, Ernst and Young surveyed 9,699 full-time workers in eight countries, and found that 58 percent of U.S. workers in managerial positions work more than 40 hours per week, second only to Mexico's 61 percent.

If you think that's fun to read, then you better not continue reading if you have kids.  The study finds that 41 percent of managers who have kids say their work hours have increased over the past five years, compared to 37 percent of managers who don't have kids.

Seems to me like the old phrase “working nine to five” is becoming extinct more and more by the day... Yuck!
