Minnesota state trooper, Christopher Dass, is known as one of the top DWI enforcers in the state. He was recognized in 2008 for making over 100 DWI arrests.

Last Thursday at around 3:30 a.m. Christopher found himself on the wrong side of the law. Fridley police arrested Daas for drunk driving after they received a report of a pickup truck that hit multiple signs, veered onto a median and got stuck.

The criminal complaint says Daas got out of the vehicle and walked toward the officers, telling him he had "too much" to drink. He refused to take a breath test.

Daas has been placed on leave and will be subject to an internal investigation, in addition to the criminal charges.
