Alanis Updated “Ironic”!

Wanna feel old? It's been 21 years (its really been TWENTY ONE years???) since Alanis Morissette's 'Ironic' was released and James Corden just had her on 'The Late, Late Show' to do an updated version of the song.  It's fantastic, you can check the video out here:

It got me to thinking about the other big things that happened in 1995:

Selena was murdered.

The Oklahoma City bombing took place that year.

Full House had its final episode.

Christopher Reeve was paralyzed.

eBay was started!

This one is for all the IBMers in town: Javascript was invented!

The first Toy Story came out in theaters.

Operation Desert Storm officially ended

The DVD was invented

The mouse scroll wheel was invented. Could you imagine if we didn't have that today, how annoying it would be to spend all day on Facebook without that?

And, of course, Alanis' album 'Jagged Little Pill' was Album of the Year (but the award for 1995 Album of the Year was given out in 1996.)
