If you’re anything like me, you initially saw a set of shiny legs... but then at a second glance you notice it's just white paint. Or is it?! I can't decide!

The reason many people can only see white paint after first seeing shiny legs is something called "sensory cues."

When you first look at the photo, you’re aware that the legs could be oily, so you’re open to seeing that. But once you’re told that white paint might actually be the answer, you begin to search the photo for clues and in doing so, see the art supplies surrounding the legs.
