Ariana Grande has long been an outspoken advocate of LGBT rights, and now she’ll celebrate equality at a giant NYC Pride party. Grande has been announced as the headliner for the event’s 29th annual Dance on the Pier.

“With the rich history of this event involving artists such as the late Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, Cher, Demi Lovato and more, we think Ariana will be the perfect fit for this event,” NYC Pride managing director Chris Rederick told Next Magazine.

“We are delighted to welcome Ariana Grande to one of the world’s top-tier LGBT events,” dance director Jose Ramos added. “Dance on the Pier is a highly anticipated part of Pride, thanks in part to amazing DJs and incredible performers. This year will be no different.”

The pop diva will take the stage at Pier 26 in Hudson River Park on June 28. Grande’s performance will be preceded by music from DJs Ralphia Rosario, the Cube Guys and Wayne G. You can purchase tickets here.

Grande recently split with boyfriend Big Sean, whom she had been dating for eight months. A few days later, the My Everything singer expressed her gratitude for her fans’ support via Twitter, but deleted the message shortly thereafter.

“I love u babes so much,” the tweet in question reportedly read. “You’re a bunch of angels honestly. Your love / care is appreciated so much. I’m good I promise.”
