Emojis. Some people love them, some hate them. They have spawned toys at McDonald's, and large stuffed pillows at stores. There are currently 879 Emojis, and come June 21, 2016, 72 more Emojis will be on your phone after a quick phone software update and Unicode 9.0 updates.

Currently, the Emojis are just in code and don't have a defined form yet, but Emojiopedia founder Jeremy Burge said that the images that Emojipedia mocked up are the best examples of what they should look like on an apple phone. Some new Emojis include Bacon, a Clown Face, a Sneezing Face, an Avocado and a Drooling Face. Emojipedia even made mock-ups on how these will look on different platforms such as Google devices.

Do you think you will be able to find any use for these new Emojis? Or do you think having 951 emojis is just a waste of space?

Fun Fact: There are more Emojis than there are Pokémon in the Pokémon franchise, having only 721 characters as opposed to the 879, soon to be 951 Emojis.
