Byron, MN (KROC AM News) – Two teenagers have admitted starting a fire earlier this week that wiped out an abandoned house in Byron.

The 13 and 14-year-old boys say they set a couch cushion on fire to “see what would happen.”

It’s not known yet if they will face charges.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says the old house was in poor condition and had not been occupied in about 25 years. The owner is listed as a family trust.
