Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police are reporting the arrest of a man on felony drug charges connected to a significant seizure of synthetic marijuana.

A spokesman says officers were sent to a home in the northwest Rochester after a woman contacted the probation officer assigned to 35-year-old Charles Gayles and reported that he had left a duffel bag full of drugs in her garage.

The responding officers found over nine pounds of a synthetic marijuana product known as K2 in the bag. The woman, described by police as Gayle’s ex-girlfriend, also assisted police in locating Gayles, who was later arrested outside a business along North Broadway.
