This season's weird winter weather has lead to some pretty huge crashes across the country in the last two weeks. There was a 123 vehicle pileup on the 9th, and now this one, involving 50.

Freezing fog and drizzle set the scene for this pileup in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon. A jackknifed semi started the chain reaction of cars and other semis crashing into each other. Here's Youtube footage from the Daily News:

While that destruction was pretty bad, it was the bigger picture of an even bigger story from Sunday's accident.

Kaleb Whitby was traveling on I-84 and was part of this pileup. He was also part of the 100+ people involved who, thankfully, had no serious injuries. Absolutely INCREDIBLE, considering this pic:

Yep, that's a guy in what used to be his full size Chevy Silverado, crushed between two tractor trailers. And yes, that tweet is accurate in saying he needed TWO BAND-AIDS, on his right ring finger, to be exact.

It's just goes to show your life can change in the instant, and as Kaleb accounts, ""I just braced and hoped that everything would be all right."
