22% of break-ups will happen on this alone! So why is today the day that dumping seems the most frequent (that sentence looks like it belongs in a different story)? Because in a recent survey, those who ended relationships think four days is the perfect amount of time as to not look heartless between now and Valentine's Day. Oh, and because those who are dumping you don't want to "pretend everything's ok" on Saturday.

But if they were gonna dump you anyway, couldn't they just wait and give you nice dinner and gift first? Well, that might be true, but that figure is based on pure greed. 4% say they're holding out 'til right after V-Day so they can squeeze one more nice item out of you!

Ok, so that's couples that are just "going out", obviously those stats don't apply to married couples, right? Nope. They get a number all to themselves; the guys specifically. 1-in-12 husbands are buying TWO gifts for Valentine's Day! Before all the wives get giddy, that second gift ISNT' for you, it's for his side action!
