There's a new case of cyber-espionage, and if you have an iPhone, then you're a target.

This is serious: Anyone with an iPhone is at risk.

We constantly see those reminders pop-up on our iPhone when it needs to be updated, but this is one that you shouldn't ignore for too long.  In fact, I wouldn't wait to do this one at all.

All it takes is one click on a link usually sent through text or social media and the malware will hijack your phone.

According to ABC.net a viable security issue that originates from the United Arab Emirates could be directly threatening your phone.  The statement released said that is comes from UAE because it was targeting a human rights activists there.

How can you update your iPhone right now?  Go to Settings click General then go to Update Software.

You'll find the iOS 9.3.5 update:

Unless you want to be walking around Rochester in fear of getting hacked, Apple suggests updating this immediately.
