On Saturday, April 26 Rochester will host the Second Annual Color Dash!
This fun, family-friendly event is going to be a big difference maker – it’s Rochester’s brightest 5k run/walk. The Color Dash is a fun-filled experience for walkers, runners and people of all ages, shapes and sizes! The Dash is not timed – it’s more about sharing memories, laughing and getting colored than competing! As participants run or walk the course, our Dasher-Splasher volunteers will splash them with special colorful dust. Results – a white t-shirted community of do-gooders, turned into a rainbow of colorful faces!
This colorful, fun-filled experience will start at Olmsted Medical Center Northwest Clinic (5155 55th Street NW, Rochester). Registration begins at 12:00 pm and the Dash will start at 2 pm.

This year Boys & Girls Club of Rochester celebrates its 13th year of service to the Rochester community. The Club provides youth the necessary programs to be successful in school, acquire healthy lifestyles and develop character and leadership skills to prepare them to become contributing community members.
The Club strives to empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring community members by providing every child access to a safe, nurturing, educational environment that positively impacts their lives.
Now in its 41st year, Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) is an umbrella organization which provides support services to child care professionals and centralizes programs and services devoted to serving young children and families. CCR&R ensures positive beginnings for all young children and their families thru programs designed to serve young children and their families from all income levels and diverse backgrounds.
