Irish Fest Rochester, MN has announced a venue relocation to facilitate festival expansion. Irish Fest will be moving to the History Center of Olmsted County at 1195 West Circle Drive, SW, Rochester, MN 55902. In four short years, Irish Fest is considered the area's premier festival with a FREE annual festival over Labor Day weekend.
Irish Fest will expand its programming from 4pm Friday, August 29 until 4pm Sunday, August 31. The move will help Irish Fest expand programming on the main stage through 10pm Friday and allows them to include Gaelic games, with Hurling and Rugby hugely relevant to the culture. Festival activities include 3 major musical acts direct from ireland as well as national and regional performers, world champion Irish dancing, children's activities, native Irish Dog Breeds, Irish culture displays and workshops.
