Saturday, March 1st Century High School NHS is hosting a presentation entitled "What's in a Laugh?" about the benefits of laughter as a fundraiser for Southeast Minnesota NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in the Century High School Auditorium at 7 pm. There will be two speakers followed by a mix and mingle reception with light refreshments and live background music.
The Speakers are:
Ann Marie Gullickson, certified Laughter Yoga instructor.
Ms. Gullickson will speak on the physiology, health benefits, and history of laughter, as well as engage the audience in a few Laughter Yoga exercises!
Lawrence Peterson, M.D.
Dr. Peterson will speak on the topic of laughter from the perspective of a psychiatrist.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome! Invite your friends and family!
Free will donations for NAMI will be collected. Please come to help support this great cause, and learn what's in a laugh!
