Have you ever wondered why there is an extra shoelace hole at the top of your shoe?  Here's your answer!

I'm not that big of a runner... OK, I'm not a runner at all.  BUT I'm sure many of you who do like to run or hike would have just LOVED to have known this sooner if you didn't already!

I'm sure you've noticed that all running and hiking shoes have that extra hole at the top of the shoe... and most people don’t ever use it.  Instead, they skip threading the lace through the last top hole and tie them as usual.  Big mistake.

After watching this video you will now know why they are there and how to use them to your advantage.

Wow... who knew those extra holes could be used to prevent blisters on your heels and stop your feet from cramming forward into the front of the shoe?!

Not me.  But then again, I already told you I'm not a runner.
