It's been a busy week for restaurant and bar news in Rochester. There's a new cocktail lounge coming to the downtown area, the people behind the popular Taco Lab food truck are ready to open their permanent restaurant called Food Lab, and a famous burger joint has opened the doors to its second location.

SwnsDigital conducted a poll to find out how much we love burgers.

They found that burgers are the go-to menu choice for one in five Americans. More than half of people surveyed said burgers were their go-to choice when eating out and the research found the average person eats about 60 burgers per year.

The restaurant has expanded across the country pretty quickly, thanks in part to the family behind the counter.

One brother, Donnie, didn't just join the school band as a kid. He created the most famous boy band in the world. His younger brother, Mark, didn't just take drama. He became one of the most famous actors in the world. And for Paul, well, he loved food and his family. But he wasn't satisfied cooking for just them. He wanted to cook for everyone else's family too. He was hungry for something more.

 

So he created Wahlburgers...

Wahlburgers is known for its delicious burgers and has a menu full of tasty sandwiches and salads. The restaurant also has a full bar with beer, wine, mixed drinks, and fun creations like the adult birthday cake ice cream shake.

Wahlburgers has been open at the West Circle Drive Hy-Vee in NW Rochester for some time now and just opened its second location inside the Crossroads Hyvee.
