By now, I'm sure you've heard of the sit-in at the House of Representatives over legislation on gun control. My friend Mary is an associate at a Washington D.C. consulting firm and has been involved in all things political for years, so it didn't surprise me at all that she was right there on the scene and part of the gathering crowds last night.

Check out some of her pictures from last night which feature the crowds and Betty McCollum (Rep. MN-4) Elizabeth Esty (Rep. CT-including Newtown CT) Leader Pelosi and Rep. Joe Crowley (Rep. NY).  Crowley and Pelosi were leading the crowd in singing "We Shall Overcome" and Lucia McBath. (McBath is the mother of Jordan Davis -- he was shot for playing loud music in his car.) It's so cool to see a first hand view of so many people gathering together and making history!
