All the humidity and summer temps in the world can't stop the early arrival of the phenomenon that is the official flavor of fall - Pumpkin Spice!

Ready or not, Minnesota based General Mills is soon releasing their new pumpkin-spice flavored Cheerios a month early, as they were originally supposed to make their debut in September.

The Cheerios, which are made with pumpkin puree, will be on shelves in the next few weeks and available through December.

  Others LOVE the idea:

Seeing as you constantly see "Back to School" sales in June, and Christmas decorations in October (sometimes earlier), then what's the big deal in releasing a CEREAL in August that's meant for fall?

Also, to those of you who get so upset that they're technically not "pumpkin" flavored, but rather pumpkin pie SPICE flavored - Calm down.

Calling anything "Cinnamon-Ginger-Nutmeg-Allspice" just doesn't have the same type of ring to it.

Bring on the new Cheerios, I'm ready to try them!
