Even with the answers accidentally printed on a "job basics" test at a retirement home, OVER HALF of the job applicants failed! If I was among the elderly living there, I'd be trying to bust out of that joint!

"Wait, this catheter goes in which end?" That's not the question you want to here from someone who's looking out for your well being, especially if you're getting old enough where care from others is a necessity. Considering that one of the requirements of being hired at retirement facility in Castro Urdiales, Spain, was to just PASS a basics test, I picture a lot of old folks with plastic tubes stuck in their ears.

60% of the 120 applicants (emphasis on the appli-CAN'Ts) who took the test failed, EVEN WITH THE ANSWERS ACCIDENTALLY PRINTED RIGHT ON THE TEST; proof that even the people already working there probably aren't Mensa card carriers. Only 48 applicants even PASSED the test, a glaringly sad fact given the answers were hand written by a member of the staff and then sent to the copier for all to see.

Even the mistake itself wasn't spotted until long after all 120 people had already taken the 30-question test, of which, only 72 people answered correctly. That leads me to exclaim that this test should have had 31 questions, with the last one asking, "Who's less bright, those already working here or the ones we want to hire?"
