Labor Day – What Is Open and What Is Closed

Wondering what will be open and what will be closed this Labor Day? Here's a quick rundown: 

Forget buns, ketchup or cheese for your bbq? Don't worry, most grocery stores will be open. Walmart and Target will also be open.

Need to get your kids some new clothes before school starts? No problem, the Apache Mall and most retail stores are open on Labor Day.  *Some stores might have special holiday hours, so to be safe we recommend calling ahead.

Want to take your family to a movie? You can, all area movie theaters are open for the holiday.

Here's what is closed on Labor Day:

Banks, the Rochester Public Library, all Government offices, the Post Office, UPS and FedEx. Most garbage companies will not pick up today - your garbage company should have that info provided for you on their website.
