Next month, you'll either be hitting the road to visit, or hosting, relatives for Thanksgiving. Then, the month after, you'll be making the rounds with co-workers, friends and family for Christmas. And then, finally, there's New Year's Eve.

GQ magazine put together a list of tips to help you be ready for any occasion that requires social drinking.

You'll be happy to know that GQ's Mark Byrne starts by saying to drink frequently. Alrighty then! That depends on your age. Under 25, have something with dinner every day. Over 25, that would be every other day. There's no real specifics if you're drinking for a friend under 25. Or because you have three kids that are under 25, like I do.

Another tip, save your third drink for special occasions. Because it's Friday-eve is not a special occasion. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings = special occasions. Oh, and a fourth drink? Wait four hours on that one.

You'll find a few more great tips to not having a hangover ever again here.
