Nothing to Do in Rochester? Really? Come on!

About once a month I run into someone who says there is never anything to do in this town. That's just crazy! I feel there isn't ever enough time to do all the fun things that are always going on in Rochester!

For instance, this week 'Mary Poppins' opens at the Rochester Civic Theatre and will run from April 1st through 24th. Here's a picture of my friend Megan and a few of her cast mates in full makeup during a dress rehearsal!

There is ALWAYS something fun going on around here! And here are some other fun things going on here this week:

- RCTC's Student Art and Design Exhibits (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

- All sorts of great musicians are always playing all around town

- Goonie's has Dwight York headlining this weekend and if you've never been to their free open mic nights on Thursdays, you SHOULD -- they are full of great talent!

- Saturday is a Free Family Day at the Art Center

So much to do, and so little time! Get out there and get active in the community. You'll soon see there's more to do than you think!
