Pac-Man Celebrates 35th Anniversary of Release

Pac-Man turns 35 today!... and he still ain't afraid of no ghosts!

Pac-Man, the biggest arcade game of all time, is celebrating his 35th Bday today.

Released by the Japanese company Namco on May 22, 1980, Pac-Man was like nothing else at the time.

By one count, the company sold 400,000 Pac-Man machines, which is head and shoulders above anything that had come before, or since.

Now, if you're feeling really nostalgic, I found a really fun Pac-Man game called Pac-Man + Tournaments.   It's got the original classic video game, and it's available on the Amazon App Store!

But you know what the worse part is?  We’re all really going to feel old in 5 years when Pac turns 40!
