Pete Davidson Announces Surprise Cedar Rapids Show

One of the most popular comedians is making a last-minute stop in Eastern Iowa next week. On Friday, December 1st officials from VenuWorks announced that comedian, actor, and 'Saturday Night Live' alum Pete Davidson will be performing in Cedar Rapids.

The Staten Island native was an SNL cast member from 2014 to 2022. His regular appearances on Weekend Update and various other sketches turned him into a certified comedy superstar overnight.

Davidson is the creator, executive producer, writer and star of Peacock’s critically acclaimed comedy “Bupkis.”

He has also appeared in multiple different films over the past few years including; “The King of Staten Island,” “Trainwreck,” “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Big Time Adolescence,” “Set It Up,” “Meet Cute,” and “Bodies Bodies Bodies.”

The star recently returned to his SNL to host the show on October 14th with musical guest Ice Spice.

When Is the Show?

Pete Davidson will be performing at the Paramount Theatre on Wednesday, December 6th at 8:00 PM.

Doors for the show open at 6:30 PM and lobby doors open at 7:30 PM.

Officials from the venue confirmed that this show will be a "phones-free experience." The usage of phones, smart watches, or other accessories like this will not be permitted.

Once audience members arrive at the Paramount Theatre all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the show.

Officials did confirm that guests will be in possession of their devices at all times. You will be able to access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue.

When Do Tickets Go On Sale?

Tickets for the event in Cedar Rapids go on sale to the public at noon on Friday, December 1st. You can purchase your tickets online here or at the Paramount Theatre Box Office.
