Blue or gold dresses, panda's hidden within snowmen, and now this.  Here's the latest craze to take over the internet.

Optical illusions are totally fun, don't get me wrong... but it's so funny how quickly the internet grabs hold of one and it just TAKES OFF!

This particular optical illusion isn't exactly "NEW" though.  It first appeared in a German magazine around 1892, and was later made famous by U.S. psychologist Joseph Jastrow in 1899... So yes, it's over 100 years old!

According to Jastrow, depending on whether you see a duck or a rabbit first and how fast you see the other is an indicator of how creative you are, and also how fast your brain works.  He used the illusion to make the point that we 'see' with our brains, as well as our eyes.

It's also been noted that the time of year also affects which animal you see.  The closer to Easter we are, the more likely a person will see a rabbit first.  In October, seeing a duck first is a little more common.

Also, if you're a huge fan of "How I Met Your Mother", you might remember an episode in the show's fifth season where the gang argues whether it's a duck or a rabbit?

So let's get to it then shall we:  What do YOU see?
