I've got a kid in high school so I have been hearing about a game called Paranoia, bake sales, chances to pay a few bucks to pet some puppies, and also a battle between the bands.  This battle is loud, full of a lot of holiday spirit, and absolutely amazing!

As a previous drum major in my high school, that battle is my absolute favorite thing.  I love seeing the drums and the talent that we have in our high school bands.  When we pair that with helping out others...win/win.

Want a little glimpse of what is happening next Wednesday?  I've got a video below of the battle that happened at Century High School last year between Century, Mayo, and John Marshall drumlines.  (If you can't see it, click here)

Join us for the annual Drumline Showcase featuring the John Marshall, Century & Mayo Drumlines!  All proceeds will be divided between the 3 high schools for their annual holiday fundraising events know as Century Bear Creek Week, JM Gives, and Mayo's GOFA. These three schools donate all raised funds to the following local organizations:
Christmas Anonymous, Santa Anonymous, Bear Creek ServicesBrighter Tomorrows, Dorothy Day Hospitality House and the Women’s Shelter of Rochester. - info from their Facebook event page

I'll be there and can't wait to cheer on each drumline!  Join me at John Marshall High School on Wednesday, December 19th from 8pm - 9:30pm.  Tickets are just $3 in advance and $5 at the door.

Any other fun activities going on in our schools and classrooms?  I'd love to hear about them and share those stories.  Send me a message on my Facebook page (click here) or DM me on Instagram.
