Rochester police are investigating a three vehicle wreck in the city yesterday that seriously injured a baby girl.

A spokesman says the one month old was unresponsive when an officer who was near the crash arrived. Paramedics were able to revive Annabella Elizondo but she soon became unresponsive again. A Mayo Clinic spokeswoman says no information is being released on the baby’s medical condition.

The accident happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Marion Road and 12th street southeast.

 

A Rochester woman who fell out a moving car near Chatfield on Saturday is in fair condition at St. Mary’s. The State Patrol says the car was traveling about 55 mph when 23-year-old Saralyn Squillace fell out the front passenger window. State troopers say Squillace was one of three people in the vehicle who had been drinking
