Share the Love: Shannon Howard

There's nothing more special than to surprise someone that has given so much to their community. Shannon Howard was nominated by close friend, Jill Cordes for a random act of kindness. Shannon's story is one of the very reasons why 106.9 KROC and Clements Subaru teamed up to share the love to recipients like her.

In January, Shannon experienced a significant loss when a snowmobile accident claimed her husbands life. Jill shared the Shannon has pressed on and continued helping with all of his organizations he was involved in. She included this on the nomination form:

Shannon is so passionate about volunteering. She is always giving her time to help the Byron youth softball teams, the Byron prom committee, and serving food at the Salvation Army. 

Her daughter Kelsey agrees. She added that it's been a tough year and that her mom works so hard, volunteers and deserves an act of kindness.

Watch as we surprise Shannon. She had NO idea that her daughter, friends and softball family were all in cahoots to show her some love! Shannon's reaction will bring you to tears.
