Strategies People Use For Christmas Shopping Include Taking Out Loans
A new report from Google says that 26 percent of all shoppers have already started their Christmas shopping. There are 70 days until Christmas - have you bought any gifts yet? I honestly haven't even given any thought to it yet.
A recent survey conducted in England asked people what strategy they use to deal with Christmas spending.
50% of people try to save for Christmas throughout the year.
25% use coupons, credit card points, and deals to save on their shopping.
17% just take on credit card debt.
And 8% take out a LOAN.
I think a lot of people use their credit cards but end up getting them paid off by Valentine's Day. If you're still paying off last years gifts; maybe you should consider scaling back a little on the gift giving. You should definitely reconsider your shopping list if you need to take out a loan.
In a couple of weeks we're going to start helping you pay for this year's presents... stay tuned!
