We all know what a robot is…but would you know how to build one?  On Saturday, May 17th, Rochester’s FIRST Robotics High School Team (Inconceivable Team 2530) competed in the 2014 Minnesota State High School League Robotics tournament.

After a full days competition, Team 2530 finished in the second place alliance, just behind the defending state champs from Woodbury.  This tournament capped off the one of the most successful seasons the team has had thus far.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics is an international organization which includes First Lego League, First Technical Challenge, and First Robotics Competition. Team 2530 is comprised of 40 students from Century, Mayo, and John Marshall high schools.

The end of the year celebration will take place Wednesday evening (May 28) at the Mayo HS cafeteria at 6:30PM.   Congrats to everyone involved!
