Take Elevators Daily? This’ll Make You Take The Stairs

Everyone's fear about elevators has been tossed on its head.  Literally.  That fear is that you've hit the "lobby" button in the elevator and it starts screaming down floors 'til it crashes you into the basement and breaks your legs, squashing you like an accordion.

OK, maybe I'm the only one that takes that fear to such a detailed, graphic level.

Until now.

Jose Acevedo got into an elevator in a new apartment complex in Santiago, Chile on Friday, when the elevator started shooting UP 31 FLOORS and crashed into the ceiling in LESS THAN 15 SECONDS!

He's still alive, but he has leg and head injuries along with spine damage that may prevent him from walking ever again.
