That’s It, We’re Moving!

Since I've got a little guy who's gonna be joining us in FIVE WEEKS(that's the due date anyway) I can personally testify that this is how I feel right now!

Right now me and my lady both own homes and are just blowing cash on an extra mortgage payment every month.  And while my house has a yard and a huge park just one block away, it's small(I bought it 8 years ago as a starter-home).  Ang's place has ample square footage, but a cliff 10 feet from her back door(not good for a soon-to-be roaming little one).

looking forward to moving on the from the place I called "case de Lew" while I was a crazy, partying bachelor.  Lucky for me, the house had new windows, siding and shingles put on just before I bought it in '06.  But what it doesn't have is what's driving me nuts!  It needs a new deck, central air, new cement in the garage, a finished basement and updated bathroom; just to name the big stuff.  So when I read the latest reasons people move, I started checking off the things that applied to my place. Thankfully, "there aren't enough bathrooms, "It's too small" and "it needs too much work" were the only things that pertained to my domain.

The top 10 reason why people move, according to a recent DailyMail.com survey include:

1. It's too small.
2. The yard is too small.
3. It needs too much work.
4. It's too far away from family.
5. It's in a bad neighborhood.
6. There aren't enough bathrooms.
7. The neighbors suck.
8. It's too close to a busy street.
9. There's nowhere to park.
10. It's not close to public transportation.
