So, 20 weeks have gone by since I found out my wife and are having a baby, and this past weekend we threw ourselves a revealing party to find out the sex!

After calling a quick and last minute audible on how we were going to execute the reveal, we had some good friends of ours whip up a man-made pressurized "gun" to spray colored powder at us to paint us pink or blue.

Leading up to the moment of truth, I can honestly say this was one of the first times in my life I didn't have a lot to say because I was legitimately nervous! Deep down I wanted the baby to be a boy (naturally), but my gut was telling me it was going to be a girl.

Once we set everything up, and my family and closest friends were ready we counted down.... 3........2...........1.........!

POW!!!

Pink powder was everywhere!... well, at least on one of our friends, that is! Poor Sarah got the brunt of the blast, as she was the one standing directly in front of the gun. I then looked at my wife and my family and despite the "reveal fail", there was nothing but smiles all around.

We then toasted to our baby girl's health and that's when the next discussion began: What are we going to name her?!

Oooohh boy, here we go... or should I say, ooooohhh girl? :)
