Tree Draws Big Crowd

The 2014 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree arrived as scheduled in Rochester this morning. The city was selected as one of the stops for the 88 foot tree that was cut down in a northern Minnesota forest last week. It is scheduled to be in Washington DC in time for a lighting ceremony December 2nd.

The Rochester Downtown Alliance and other organizations scheduled several hours of entertainment at the Peace Plaza today as part of the tree’s visit.
