Twitter is Shutting Down the Video-Sharing App Vine

The Vine team and Twitter (which owns Vine) announced Thursday the Vine app and service will be shut down “in the coming months.”

immediately, so you’ll still have a chance to save and download your Vines, and they’ll be keeping

the website online so you can still watch everything that’s been recorded. However, it’s unclear at this time how long the site will live on.

While that may seem vague as to how long you have before you lose everything, Vine says before any changes are made to the app or website, you will be notified beforehand.

There’s no more specific timeline or details right now, but Vine says they’ll share news on their blog and Twitter account.

I personally never used it, but I know a lot of friends did and I know they're bummed out. However, here's one Vine that I'll never forget because I laugh every damn time I see it:
