Brian Williams was called out for lying about an incident that happened (or didn't happen) in Iraq in 2003. He had been claiming that the aircraft he was on was hit by enemy fire.  Turns out it wasn't his aircraft at all. The other night, several US soldiers reminded him of the true story.

Last night on the NBC Nightly Newscast he said he "made a mistake in recalling the events of 12 years ago." Williams confessed that he and his crew were not on the chopper hit by rocket-propelled grenades, but rather on one following that helicopter.
