Back in April, we heard another major concert announcement concerning two new lineups at this years Great Minnesota Get-Together: Usher, and Sam Hunt.

If I'd put money down that day on who I thought would have sold more tickets by this time, I'd be one sore loser right now.

While Sam Hunt's popularity has exploded this summer with his smash hit "Body Like a Back Road", Usher's been busy doing other things...

In what should be one of the fairs biggest acts at the Grandstands, Usher has struggled to get anyone to buy a ticket to his show August 31. So much so, that the fair has made a buy-one-get-one type of offer.

If you buy more than one Usher ticket, they're half price ($48.50, before fees).

The half-price deal is good until Aug. 23, and you can buy up to 12 tickets... that's quite the deal!

Tickets were originally $97 for general admission, or anywhere from $72-$87 for mainstand reserved seating.

Is his lawsuit scandal affecting ticket sales? Or is it because he's one of the most expensive acts at this years Grandstand? Guess we'll find out next week what the numbers show when he finally performs.

This year’s fair runs this Thursday, August 24 through Labor Day, September 4.
