Vikings Vs Packers To Support The Salvation Army

Sunday, November 22 is the day many Minnesotans have eagerly been awaiting. It's game day, but not just any game day: it's a border battle.

As you prepare to support your team by sporting purple or green, you can support the Rochester Salvation Army in a Kettle Border Challenge.  This friendly competition will take place Thursday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the downtown kettle locations. The kettles will be decked out in your favorite team colors representing the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers.

Who will win? When The Salvation Army red meets the Vikings purple and the Packers green, it is truly our community who wins. Though you are showing your football pride, you are ultimately demonstrating your support of the Rochester Salvation Army as all proceeds benefit local programs.

Stop by the Shops at University Square locations at the top of the stairs on the second floor or the Associated Bank location in the Subway to participate. You can either donate to help your team get a head in this challenge or you can come dressed in your team colors recruit more supporters.
