Walmart to Introduce New ‘Pilot Program’ Involving Uber and Lyft

Life just got a whole lot easier if you love shopping at Walmart!

With the battle between Amazon and Walmart getting fiercer by the day, we all get to sit back and watch as delivery times get shorter.

Check this out: Walmart is partnering with Uber and Lyft for grocery deliveries!  Sources say the retailer is teaming up with the ride-sharing companies for its online delivery service in an effort to better compete with it's rivals.

Like how that sounds?  Well here’s how it works: Walmart customers will be able to shop using the company’s online grocery service at grocery.walmart.com, then request delivery at checkout for a small fee.  Shoppers even get to choose the delivery time-frame.

Walmart says test deliveries will begin within the next two weeks in Phoenix and Denver.  A similar test is working well in Miami.
