Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Mother Nature cooperated for those involved in an event put on by the History Center of Olmsted County Saturday.

Just two days after temperatures were -30 degrees, Rochester area-residents enjoyed weather that was 65 degrees warmer as they took part in Winterfest activities at the History Center.

Children were invited to enjoy “quill pen and paper writing, corn shelling, apple press, coloring station, vintage toys and much more.” And that “more” included horse-drawn sleigh rides provided by the Rochester Area Special Olympics.

Rochester’s Winterfest runs through Feb. 24.
