Popular History Channel Show is Filming in Minnesota this Fall
It's always really exciting when shows or movies decide to film in Minnesota. Even if we can't be involved at all, we're still proud that our state was chosen! But this particular show that will be filming here DOES want our participation.
It's a big show from the History Channel and I'm pretty sure they've filmed here in the past. Also, not only are they filming in Minnesota but they're also going to be filming in Iowa and Wisconsin.

TV Shows That Have Featured Minnesota
Before we get to the TV show coming to film this fall, let's talk about a few shows that we've been featured on in the past.
Minnesota was featured on 'The Bachelorette' when the lead or one of the competitors was from Minnesota.
The Land of 10,000 Lakes has also been featured in 'Little House on the Prairie', the show that told the story of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Explore Minnesota notes that Laura moved a lot but the TV show was entirely based near Walnut Grove, MN.
Minnesota was also a major part of 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show'. Explore Minnesota writes, "Minneapolis is a major piece of the show, with Lake of the Isles, Richards’ apartment, and an infamous hat toss sequence that was commemorated with a Nicollet Mall statue in 2002."
'American Pickers' Filming in Minnesota this Fall
The show that will be coming here to film this fall, though, is 'American Pickers'! Yes, if you or someone you know has a collection that you think they'd like to see, they want to hear from you.
They made the announcement that they'd be coming to Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin on their Facebook page:
The filming will take place in September which is right around the corner, believe it or not.
If you or someone you know ends up on the show, let us know!
