Area Marching Band Recognized as the Best in SE Minnesota

Each Friday in the Fall, 106.9 KROC visits area high school football games and one of the highlights for me is seeing the area bands. Over the last several weeks, we asked you to nominate and then vote for your favorite local high school marching bands. Thousands and thousands of people voted and today is the day we finally announce the winner!

Runners-up:

5) Waseca Marching Jays

4) Century High School Panthers Marching Band

2) Mankato and Lourdes High School Marching Eagles tied for 2nd place

And the BEST Marching Band in Southeast Minnesota is...

The Lake City Marching Tigers!

Thanks to everyone that took time to vote and congrats to the kids at Lake City High. There are so many talented kids all throughout our area and their dedication to music is appreciated by all.
