Austin Pacelli Teacher Arrested and Fired
The Winona Diocese has fired a teacher at Austin Pacelli High School because of allegations of sexual abuse.
The diocese has issued a statement indicating 28-year-old Mary Gilles was terminated following her arrest Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of felony criminal sexual conduct involving a male student at the parochial high school. She is being held in the Mower County jail pending the filing of formal charges.
